I’m a husband, a father of two, and someone who is still figuring things out.
A lot of my life revolves around family and work. I’m involved in a small business, where there are responsibilities, difficult decisions, and days when it’s hard to leave the worries behind. At home, I’m trying to raise my kids, enjoy my marriage, and appreciate the time we have together.
I wasn’t born or raised here, so I bring a different cultural background to my life and parenting. I’m still learning how to bring together the traditions I grew up with and those I’ve come to know here, in a way that feels right for our family.
I enjoy cooking, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Sometimes the moments that mean the most to me are simple: making food together, watching a movie with my kids, or having a conversation that stays with me afterward.
I’ve always been curious about people. I want to understand how they see things, what shaped them, and how they got to where they are. I don’t have to agree with everything someone says to learn something from their experience.
That curiosity is part of why I started writing these notes. Things happen at home, at work, or in a conversation, and I keep thinking about them. Writing helps me slow down and understand what I’m feeling.
Sometimes I notice something I’m grateful for. Other times, I recognize something I need to work on. I worry too much. I don’t always respond to my kids the way I wish I had. I can have expectations that I haven’t clearly explained. I’m trying to be more aware of those things.
As I’ve continued writing, I’ve also realized that someday I’d like my kids to read this. They might remember a camping trip or a quiet weekend, but these notes can show them what those moments meant to me. They can know more about my happiness, my struggles, and what I was trying to understand during these years.
For now, this is a place to keep those thoughts—and share them with anyone who finds something familiar in them.
