I find myself thinking about things long after the moment has passed. A conversation with my kids, a decision at work, or something I hear in the news can stay with me. I keep asking what happened, why it matters, and whether there’s something I can learn from it.
I started this website to give those thoughts a place to go. I don’t have every answer, and I’m not writing because I think I do. I want to write down what I’m seeing and feeling while I’m still working through it.
My hope is to take one real moment each week and ask a few simple questions: What happened? What did it make me think about? What did I learn—or what am I still trying to understand? Some weeks that might be about raising kids. Other weeks it might be about running a business, faith, or an everyday question that won’t leave me alone.
I also want this to be a conversation. If you have a question and I think I can help, I’ll try to answer. With your permission, it might become a weekly note that helps someone else think through the same thing.
Maybe a thought here will help you see something differently. Maybe you’ll have a better answer than I do. Either way, I’d rather start the conversation than keep all these thoughts in my head.
